Icons Made Simple - How to tell Windows XP to use large icons.

Here are directions for enabling large icons in Windows XP.

At your desktop, right-click on empty space, then click on "Properties".

In the "Display Properties" window that opens, click the "Appearance" tab (at the top), then click "Effects..."

In the "Effects" window that opens, check the box labeled "Use large icons" then click "OK".

Lastly, click "OK" on the "Display Properties" window to finish.

Congratulations, you now are using large icons in Windows XP!
